Description

An essential piece of mountain safety gear. This lightweight, single-person emergency bivy bag packs down small inside its own stuff sack and is a sensible addition to any mountain first aid kit. Made from hard-wearing material in high-visibility colors, it has a PFAS-free PU coating for wind, water and dirt protection on the outside. And the silver lining on the inside reflects body heat to prevent undercooling.

100% PES FOIL WITH AL COATING

* D stands for denier. This describes the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.
* PES stands for polyester. PES fibres are very tear and abrasion resistant and hardly absorb moisture.
* PA stands for polyamide. PA fibres are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

PFAS free

This product is free from PFAS (per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFAS have water, dirt and grease repellent properties but they are persistent chemicals and harmful to people, animals, and the environment.

Instead, deuter uses durable water-repellent finishes (DWR) that are environmentally sound and harmless to human and animal health, and free from these ‘forever chemicals’.
